Indira
Mariappan
Indira Mariappan graduated from Curtin University WA (Australia) with a Bachelor of Pharmacy in 1987. She then managed the first Homeopathic and Naturopathic Pharmacy in Subiaco, Perth, for three years.
This experience ignited her passion for natural healing and led to the study of Naturopathy and Homeopathy at the Perth Academy of Natural Therapies.
After graduation in 2002, she continued her studies at the Homeopathic Hospital in Mumbai and in Fremantle under Dr Philip Bailey. During 2003, she commenced her private practice.
Indira deepens her knowledge base each year by attending seminars and workshops by prominent homeopathic and naturopathic practitioners. She also travels on occasion to India for experience of the Ayurvedic system of health care and of traditional meditation practice.
As a dedicated Yoga practitioner, she has a well grounded breath and meditation practice. Such self study further supports the health care of her patients.
The skilled application of this integrated approach coupled with her warmth and empathy, has seen her practice grow steadily over the years.
I work with people of all ages to help restore optimal health on a physical, mental and spiritual level. I believe that natural health care is about treating the individual and supporting their healing process throughout all the different phases and transitions of their life.
I offer safe complementary health care to those on prescribed medicines, as well as to those seeking an alternative drug-free approach for their health.
